Position Overview
Fields of Art Christian Academy is seeking passionate, dedicated, and professional Teachers who are committed to providing high-quality instruction in a faith-based learning environment. Teachers are responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, fostering student growth, maintaining a positive classroom culture, and helping students reach their academic, social, and spiritual potential.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, standards-based lessons.
- Create a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Develop weekly lesson plans and instructional materials.
- Assess student progress through assignments, quizzes, tests, and observations.
- Maintain accurate attendance, grades, and student records.
- Manage classroom behavior using positive discipline strategies.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and concerns.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Supervise students during classroom activities, lunch, recess, field trips, and school events.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school activities.
- Integrate technology and hands-on learning into instruction when appropriate.
- Uphold the mission, vision, and Christian values of Fields of Art Christian Academy.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal or Administration.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Valid Florida teaching certification preferred (or eligibility to obtain one).
- Previous teaching experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and staff.
- Proficient with technology, including Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
- Must successfully pass a background check.
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to supervise students indoors and outdoors.
- Ability to perform classroom duties in a fast-paced school environment.
Work Schedule
- Full-time and part-time positions available.
- Monday–Friday.
- Hours based on school schedule and assigned grade level.

Pay: $15.00 - $40.00 per hour
