ACCOUNTS PAYABLE COORDINATOR

Job Description
Fairbank Construction is looking for team players. While an AP Coordinator may be involved in many different tasks, he/she must share a commitment and desire to providing a high level of client service and to be a contributing part of the entire organization.
Reports to Accounting Manager
- Entering vendor invoices.
- Reviewing vendor documents for completeness, accuracy, and proper coding.
- Accounts payable data entry and vendor payment preparation.
- Company credit card tracking, receipt collection, and expense entry.
- Maintaining vendor records, contact information, and insurance documents.
- Employee reimbursement processing.
- Entering monthly recurring accounting items, including temporary facilities or other direct entries.
- Reconcile vendor statements and identify missing invoices or credits.
- Supporting accounts receivable tasks as needed, including payment posting.
- Uploading, saving, and organizing accounting documents.
- Assisting with month end and year end accounting support tasks.
- Helping prepare 1099 information and year end vendor documentation.
- Supporting accounting projects, cleanup tasks, and special assignments as needed.
- Cross trained in other accounting duties to provide department support.
- Protecting confidential company, employee, vendor, and client information.
Required Skills
- Strong computer skills with a knowledge of common bookkeeping and spreadsheet programs.
- Professional written and verbal communication.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to manage repetitive tasks with consistency and accuracy.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Accounting/office experience a plus.
- High school graduate--College preferred, not required.

Compensation and Benefits
This is a part-to-full-time, non-exempt position, Monday-Friday with remote work possible. Must be able to come to office on Bainbridge Island as needed. Fairbank Construction is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
