VersAbility Resources is seeking a creative, strategic, and results-driven Marketing Specialist to support the execution of integrated marketing and communications strategies that increase brand awareness, drive engagement, and support fundraising efforts.
This role is ideal for a self-starter who enjoys storytelling, content creation, social media management, and data-driven marketing. The Marketing Specialist will play a key role in promoting both VersAbility Resources and VersAbility TECH through engaging campaigns, digital communications, event promotion, and community outreach initiatives. The ideal candidate is creative, organized, proactive, and passionate about using marketing to support a mission-driven organization.

Support the development and execution of marketing campaigns for brand awareness, fundraising, and program promotion

Create and manage content across social media, websites, email campaigns, print materials, and digital communications

Lead all organizational social media platforms, including content planning, publishing, engagement, and analytics tracking

Track and analyze marketing performance and provide recommendations to improve results

Support promotion of VersAbility TECH programs to increase awareness and enrollment interest

Manage branded merchandise, inventory, online company store, and promotional materials

Develop and execute email marketing campaigns for donors, participants, business partners, and stakeholders

Collaborate with internal teams to gather stories, content, and program updates

Ensure all communications align with brand standards and organizational messaging

Assist with events, community outreach activities, fundraising initiatives, and partnership development

Perform other duties as assigned

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, Nonprofit Management, or related field OR 37 years of relevant experience

Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing, communications, public relations, or related field

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Experience managing social media platforms and creating digital content

Experience with email marketing, website management, and marketing analytics

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Canva, social media platforms, and marketing technology tools

Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, photography, videography, or graphic design preferred

Strong project management and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Work Environment and Physical Requirements
This position primarily operates in a professional office environment but also supports community events, outreach activities, fundraising functions, and program locations.
The role may require occasional local travel, event support, photography, videography, and lifting up to 25 pounds of marketing materials, displays, or promotional items.

This is a full-time position. Monday through Friday 8am-4:30pm; however, occasional evenings and weekends may be required to support events, community outreach activities, and organizational initiatives.
