Teacher Assistant Substitute for Head Start and NC Pre-K in Buncombe and Madison County

Seeking excellent early childhood educators who:

Other Duties include:
- Implementing lesson plans and daily classroom schedules
- Supporting developmental domains for children's learning and social-emotional growth
- Supervising all children and maintaining safety procedures
- Implementing instructional and assessment practices
- Maintaining positive open two-way communication with families
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- NC Driver License
- Pass a physical exam, TB Test, drug screen and a pre-employment and criminal background check
- Maintain a Criminal Background Check Qualification letter from NC DCDEE
- Complete Early Childhood Education & Development training
- Minimum of one year of early childhood education experience or equivalent
- Bi-Lingual in Spanish is a plus
