One Horizon Homes is a growing design & build firm committed to delivering high-quality craftsmanship and exceptional customer service. We are seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter to join our team and help build and renovate homes to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform rough and finish carpentry on residential construction and renovation projects.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Install framing, doors, windows, trim, cabinetry, and other wood structures.
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials accurately.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site.
- Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and team members.
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and building codes.
- Identify and resolve construction issues as they arise.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of carpentry experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of residential construction methods and materials.
- Ability to read blueprints and construction plans.
- Proficient with carpentry tools and equipment.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
- OSHA certification is a plus but not required.
