Connecticut Trailers is looking for a motivated, organized, and customer-focused Parts Manager to join our team. Some one who is looking for this to be their last job. Someone who gets up in the morning wanting to come to their "happy place" . We foster a family oriented atmosphere. Experience with the Mitchell software system will have priority.
We are a well-established dealership specializing in trailers, golf carts, truck beds, parts, and service. We pride ourselves on providing our customers with excellent service, quality products, and honest communication. We are looking for someone who can help keep our busy Parts and Service Department running smoothly while providing the level of customer service our customers expect.
This is a great opportunity for someone with automotive, trailer, equipment, powersports, or service department experience who is ready to take the next step into a leadership role.
What You'll Do
The Parts Manager will work closely with the Parts/Service Manager and technicians to help manage the day-to-day operation of the department.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist customers at the parts counter and by phone
- Look up, order, receive, and organize parts
- Maintain accurate parts inventory and assist with inventory counts
- Work with vendors regarding parts availability, pricing, and orders
- Prepare estimates for parts, repairs, and installations
- Help identify opportunities to improve department efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Step in and support the Parts/Service Manager wherever needed

- Comfortable using computers and learning dealership software
- Able to work independently while also being part of a team
- Willing to take ownership of problems and help find solutions
