An established Independent Insurance agency with offices in the North and Northwest suburbs of Chicago is seeking an experienced Commercial Insurance Account Manager skilled in the full range of Account Management activities (such as client servicing, processing accounts, marketing new & renewals, carrier relations, etc.).
An Important Note on Experience:
Applicants must have experience in the Independent Insurance Agency or Brokerage environment (new and renewal placement through carrier portals, experience with agency systems, etc.). Candidates without this experience are not a fit for the positions we offer. Our apologies!
Responsibilities:
- Handling client and account responsibilities for predominantly small and middle market accounts for a multi-line book.
- Candidates should have experience handling a range of commercial insurance accounts.
- Handling the day to day account management and client interactions for new, existing, and renewal accounts. Certs, Quoting/Rating/Marketing, Customer Support, Carrier Relations, Claims initiation, etc.
- Expertise with accounts including; Transportation, Construction & Contractors, Manufacturers & Distributors, Commercial Real Estate / Property, Main Street, etc. is desirable
Qualified Insurance Applicants should have:
- Exceptional Knowledge of Commercial Lines Insurance Coverages
- Familiarity navigating Carrier Portals for marketing and servicing activities
- Experience with Agency Management Systems (AMS360, TAM/EPIC, Sagitta, etc.)
- A Valid Illinois P&C Insurance License
