Overview:

As an Access Control Officer supporting the Missile Defense Agency (MDA), you will play a vital role in maintaining the security and integrity of government facilities, personnel, and assets. Responsibilities:
As an Access Control Officer, you will:

Monitor and control access to government facilities and restricted areas.

Verify visitor identities and issue temporary access credentials in accordance with established policies.

Screen personnel and visitors using magnetometers and X-ray equipment.

Conduct security inspections and facility access checks to ensure compliance with security procedures.

Secure and safeguard government property, equipment, and facilities.

Identify, document, and immediately report security violations or suspicious activity.

Respond to emergencies and provide CPR, AED, and First Aid assistance when needed.

Support special security operations and events in coordination with the Security Operations Center.

Assist emergency responders, law enforcement, and other authorized personnel as directed.

Perform additional security-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED

Able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
-
Certified in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) & Automated External Defibrillators (AED) certified (100%), and trained in Red Cross First Aid.
