You will be the Data Analyst Sr - Level 3 for the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics team which is responsible for turning raw data into actionable insights that drive business decisions.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Data Analyst Sr - Level 3 you will be responsible for collecting, transforming, and analyzing data to provide clear, data‑driven recommendations to cross‑functional stakeholders.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Extract, clean, and transform data from multiple sources while maintaining data integrity and documentation.
- Perform exploratory analysis, develop statistical models, and create forecasts to support business planning.
- Build and maintain standard and ad‑hoc reports, dashboards, and visualizations using tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Translate technical findings into concise business recommendations and collaborate with data engineers, product owners, and leaders.
- Identify automation opportunities and contribute to data‑governance best practices to improve workflow efficiency.

Responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing data to develop immersive stories that answer business questions. Using proven and sound statistical methods, the analyst draws insights from data, and translates those insights into action that drive business results. Data Analysts are extremely resourceful and able to find novel new data sources to enrich their analysis. They apply mathematical and statistical methods to business and risk management problems.Mine, process, and summarize data; Manage the quality assurance of data scraping, query databases for stakeholder requests, and triage data issues for timely resolutions; Analyze large datasets, draw valid inferences and prepare insights in narrative or visual forms, including dashboards; Set up and maintain data processes and new analytics capabilities; Produce and track key performance indicators; Ability to formulate functional and technical requirements from business problems; Program management of key tasks and resources to achieve cost and schedule
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Finance, related field considered.
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Experience with data analysis tools such as Python (pandas, NumPy) or R.
- Strong data visualization skills (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
- Ability to obtain and maintain Secret Clearance per business requirements, Interim clearance required to start.
- Ability to communicate complex results to non‑technical audiences.
- Strong problem‑solving mindset and attention to detail.
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree
- Demonstrated ability to work at all levels of the organization to develop data analytical models, drive positive change, and communicate across multi-functional stakeholders.

Full-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00
