RN Instructor – Part-Time Evening Shift (Bedside Nursing Experience Encouraged)

Schedule: Part-Time | Monday–Thursday | 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Optional Saturday Hours Available: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay: Starting at $35/hour (Negotiable Based on Experience)

Are you an experienced Registered Nurse ready to share your real-world knowledge and help shape the next generation of healthcare professionals?
We are seeking a passionate and engaging RN Instructor for our growing nursing education program. This is an excellent opportunity for nurses with strong clinical experience who are looking to transition into education. Previous teaching experience is welcome—but not required. We highly encourage candidates with 5+ years of bedside nursing experience who are eager to mentor and inspire future nurses to apply.
What You’ll Do
As an RN Instructor, you will play a key role in delivering a supportive, engaging, and career-focused learning experience for students.
Responsibilities Include:
- Prepare lesson plans, course materials, and classroom activities
- Deliver engaging in-class instruction to nursing students
- Monitor student attendance, participation, and academic progress
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and academic support to students
- Maintain accurate grading records and submit required reports
- Foster a positive, professional, and interactive classroom environment
- Support student success through effective classroom management and communication
- Learn and implement the school’s instructional methods and strategies
What We’re Looking ForRequired Qualifications:
- Active, unrestricted Florida RN License
- Associate degree in Nursing or higher
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for teaching, mentoring, and student development
- Ability to engage and motivate students in a classroom setting
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ year of teaching or training experience
- 1+ year of nursing experience preferred
- 5+ years of bedside/clinical nursing experience strongly encouraged
- Experience in med-surg, long-term care, acute care, rehab, or specialty nursing environments is a plus
