Nurse Manager – Betty Dare Wellness and Rehabilitation (This position is located in Alamogordo New Mexico)

Job Summary
Betty Dare Wellness and Rehabilitation is looking for a compassionate and experienced Nurse Manager (RN or LPN) to lead our nursing team. This leadership role is key to ensuring high-quality care, regulatory compliance, and staff support in our skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting. The ideal candidate will bring clinical expertise, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to enhancing the lives of our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support nursing staff in the delivery of high-quality, resident-centered care.
- Coordinate daily operations and staff scheduling to ensure appropriate coverage.
- Conduct clinical rounds and monitor care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Oversee medication administration and treatments; IV and phlebotomy skills are a plus.
- Participate in utilization review and ensure appropriate care transitions and resource use.
- Assist with training, mentoring, and performance evaluations for nursing staff.
- Uphold safety standards and infection control protocols.
- Respond to emergencies or complex medical issues as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care and staff activities.
Qualifications
- Active New Mexico RN or LPN license in good standing.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, preferably in long-term care or rehabilitation.
- Prior supervisory or nurse leadership experience preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR); PointClickCare preferred.
- BLS certification required; additional certifications (e.g., IV therapy) are a plus.

Pay: $32.00 - $46.00 per hour
