Description:
This position will support all production activities in the completion of finished goods. The Electrical Assembler/Field Service Technician will require 10 % travel. This will require occasionally travelling to our customers on-site and remotely to install, troubleshoot and service their equipment. The candidate will work with our customers throughout North America with an occasional need to visit, Europe, Mexico and Canada.
Education and Experience Requirements
High School Diploma
3-5 years of experience with electrical and mechanical experience as an Electrical Assembler/Field Service Technician.
Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication/listening skills as directions will be provided through a combination of both verbal & written fabrication and assembly instructions.
Must be self-motivated and great team worker.
PLC programming a plus.
Ability to work from detailed schematics, wire lists, bill of materials, engineering drawings and documentation
Experience wiring electrical panels, instrumentation and devices and point-to-point testing
Familiar with use of basic hand tools and automated assembly machines
Maintain high standards of work quality
PLC programming a plus.
Electrical Assembly
Ability to read schematics
Navigate through a PLC
Ability to trouble shoot a circuit board
Panel Wiring experience will play a major factor as well.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
