Accounting Staff — Part-time (30+ hrs/week)
Location: Chesterfield, MO (Hybrid after training)
Pay: $26 - $30/hr, based on experience
Benefits: IRA with match, paid vacations, hybrid workforce, team environment, social gatherings. At this time we do not currently offer health insurance.

What We’re Looking For:
- 3+ years in accounting
- Must have experience with QuickBooks Online
- Know your way around payroll, sales, and employment taxes
- Comfortable working independently
- Solid skills in Excel and Word
- Good at reading financial reports and communicating clearly
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Handling accounts receivable and payable
- Processing payroll and filing taxes
- Reconciling bank and credit card statements
- Helping with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings
- Preparing W-2s and 1099s
- Making sure clients’ bills get paid on time
- Posting journal entries and managing accounting tasks
- Interpreting financial data to help clients understand their numbers
The Work Setup:
- Start with approximately a month of training in the office located in Chesterfield, MO
- After that, you’ll work from home or in office (depending on schedules/meetings,etc) with at least one day in the office each week
- Flexible schedules may mean hours change from week to week but generally stay consistent with some weeks having more than others
- Some clients might ask you to work at their location occasionally
