Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Current state licensure to practice as an SLP
- Prior school-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students referred for assessment
- Develop, implement, and monitor effective individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, offering expertise on speech and language development
- Provide both direct and consultative therapy services within classroom and pull-out settings
- Utilize evidence-based practices and stay current with best practices in speech therapy
