About the Role
We are seeking an experienced In-House Freight Broker / Account Manager with an established book of business who wants to operate with the autonomy of an agent while maintaining the stability, benefits, and infrastructure of a W-2 role.
This position is ideal for a self-directed, entrepreneurial broker who owns customer relationships, understands margin discipline, and can manage freight end-to-end — from spot bidding and contracted opportunities to carrier sourcing and execution.
You will be responsible for growing and managing your own accounts, leveraging our asset-based network, carrier partnerships, internal support teams, and operational tools to scale profitably.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and grow a personal book of business within our in-house brokerage model

Own customer relationships end-to-end, including:

Spot market pricing and bidding

Contracted freight opportunities and RFP participation

Load execution, coverage, and service performance

Source and negotiate with qualified carriers to ensure:

Coordinate closely with internal operations, customer service, and asset-based teams

Track performance metrics including revenue, margin, and service KPIs

Identify opportunities to shift freight into committed or repeat lanes

Maintain accurate system documentation and load tracking

Required Qualifications

Established, transferable book of business (required)

Minimum 3–5 years experience in freight brokerage or logistics sales
