Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Lead Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for students, guiding them through their academic journey while fostering their social and emotional development. This role requires strong communication skills and a commitment to the principles of childhood development, ensuring that each child's unique needs are met.
Duties
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with t he ABEKA curriculum standards.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, employing positive reinforcement strategies to create a respectful learning environment
- Communicate regularly with parents about student progress, classroom activities, and any concerns that may arise.
- Foster a positive classroom culture that encourages teamwork, inclusivity, and respect among students.
Experience
- Proven experience working with students in a classroom setting, preferably in a private school environment.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in a daycare setting.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues.
