Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and highly personable Luxury Apartment Leasing Agent to join our property management team.
In this role, you will be the first point of contact for prospective residents, guiding them through the leasing process with enthusiasm and professionalism.
Your expertise will help showcase our luxury community, ensure compliance with fair housing regulations, and foster positive relationships with tenants. This position offers a vibrant environment where your sales skills, customer service excellence, and knowledge of property management will shine, contributing to the overall success of our community.
Duties
- Greet prospective residents warmly and conduct property tours that highlight key features and amenities of luxury apartments.
- Manage leasing inquiries via phone, email, and in-person visits with exceptional customer service and professional office etiquette.
- Assist applicants with the leasing process, including application submission, background checks, and lease signing, ensuring compliance with Fair Housing laws and maintaining a tour-to-application closing ratio of at least 33%.
- Maintain accurate data entry in Entrata; update resident records and lease information efficiently.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure property conditions meet high standards; handle basic facilities management requests when necessary.
- Negotiate lease terms and contracts confidently while upselling additional services or amenities to enhance resident satisfaction.
- Prepare and organize legal documents, contracts, and administrative files while adhering to legal administrative procedures related to landlord-tenant law.
Requirements
- Previous property management and apartment leasing experience is a plus, but not required. Sales, leasing, and other commission or tip-based work experience is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge Entrata or similar property management systems is a huge plus.
- Excellent customer service skills combined with effective conflict management and negotiation abilities.
- Understanding of Fair Housing regulations and landlord-tenant law.
- Exceptional phone etiquette and communication skills to build lasting relationships with prospective residents and team members.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail; experience in facilities management or property maintenance is beneficial.
