POSITION: Community Representative Senior
SALARY: $20.34-21.32, per hour DOE
REPORTS TO: Community Center Facilities Manager
LOCATION: Keller, WA
Basic Functions: This is a Non-Exempt position. Responsible for preventative/routine repairs and janitorial duties of Community Center Property & equipment. Under direction of the site Supervisor, employee will help coordinate positive community activities. Will provide supervision and security of community center facilities, enforce all center rules, policies/procedures and write reports when required. Incumbent must be able to work flexible hours/shifts which may include weekends & occasional holidays. Employee must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and follow both written and oral directive. Must maintain strict confidentiality and commit to safe and productive work habits. Full time employee will support the Director at times by assisting with basic office/business duties and cover supervision of community center functions in absence of the Director.

Typically requires a High School Diploma/GED with three to six months work experience.
Requires first aid card and maintain through out duration of employment or ability to obtain within 3 months of employment.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Requires knowledge of safe operation of all center equipment and tools such as: power drills, power sanders, carpet shampooer, riding lawn mower, weed eaters, chain saw, power saw, snow blower, and kitchen appliances.
The position requires experience of facility maintenance/janitorial training or work experience.
The position requires knowledge of demonstrating positive experience working with native youth or native community.
The position requires knowledge using industrial cleaning chemicals.
Requires the ability to attend trainings and meetings as scheduled by supervisor.
Requires the ability to maintain drug and alcohol free lifestyle and exhibit positive personality toward all community members.
Requires the ability to read safety labeling and follow safety requirements.
Requires the ability to communicate professionally and understand oral and written directions.
Requires the ability to work well with youth, elders, professionals and community members in stressful situations.
Requires the ability to write clear descriptive reports and knowledge of basic office/computer skills.
Requires the ability to consistently enforce all center rules, discipline policies, procedures and internal controls to all community members and be willing to provide respectful customer service to all community members.
Requires sufficient physical capability of lifting at least 50lbs, stand for extended periods of time and maintain fitness level to carry out duties of this position throughout employment.
Note: Pursuant to Tribal Policy, if this position is safety sensitive it is subject to pre-employment drug testing. In addition, this position is subject to reasonable suspicion and post-accident drug testing.

If required of this position, you must possess and maintain a valid Washington State driver’s license and be eligible for the Tribes’ Vehicle Insurance. In addition, this position may be subject to pre-employment background clearances. If applicable, these clearances must be maintained throughout employment.
