Our amazing client is seeking a Superintendent with expertise in ground-up commercial construction and healthcare renovations, having overseen projects ranging from $10 million to $50 million or more. Position Responsibilities
– Collaborate with the Project Executive to establish contracts, purchase orders, required testing/inspections, submittals/samples, subcontractor/supplier lists, and project schedules.
– Work with the Estimator on project budgeting, scope, and potential challenges.
– Procure necessary permits.
– Execute owner contracts as needed.
– Review and finalize subcontracts.
– Coordinate and track critical path submittals.
– Confirm project schedules with subcontractors and suppliers.
– Conduct thorough reviews with field superintendents on various project aspects.
– Schedule and lead site meetings and progress meetings.
– Facilitate internal project hand-off meetings.
– Process and execute change orders.
– Conduct ongoing reviews of project budgets and schedules.
– Update budgets and schedules regularly.
– Ensure all testing/inspections meet specifications.
– Prepare project meeting agendas.
– Assist with processing owner and subcontractor billings.
– Coordinate final punch and close-out procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
– A degree in Construction Management or Construction/Civil Engineering/Architecture is strongly preferred.
– 10+ years of experience in Commercial Building Construction.
– Proficiency with construction technology tools such as Sage, ProCore, OnScreen Takeoff, SmartSheets, BlueBeam, and Smart Bid.
– A strong commitment to safety.
– Ability to solve problems with minimal guidance.
