This role is all about great energy, attention to detail, and keeping things running smooth during the rush. Whether you’re taking orders, stoking out a guest’s sando, running food, or helping keep the restaurant dialed in, you’re a huge part of what makes the Board & Brew vibe special.
We’re looking for someone who’s outgoing, dependable, team-oriented, and ready to bring positive energy to every shift.
Core Responsibilities
- Welcome guests with friendly, genuine hospitality
- Take guest orders accurately while helping stoke out their meal with add-ons and recommendations
- Deliver food quickly, correctly, and in a clean, presentable way
- Help create a fun, high-energy atmosphere for guests and teammates
- Keep the dining room, expo area, and front counter clean and organized
- Clear tables and assist with maintaining a smooth guest flow
- Support teammates during busy shifts and jump in wherever needed
- Handle cash and operate the POS system accurately
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards
- Complete assigned side work and cleaning tasks
- Help make every guest feel like a local regular
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or guest service experience preferred
- Positive attitude with high energy and strong people skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while staying calm under pressure
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Reliable, punctual, and ready to be part of a team
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy rushes
- Comfortable standing and moving throughout the shift
- Ability to read menus, safety information, and operational materials
- Down-to-earth personality with the ability to stay focused and get things done
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move continuously throughout scheduled shifts; lift and carry up to 50 pounds; use hands and arms for serving, cleaning, and operating equipment; and work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Must be able to read menus, safety materials, and POS screens.
