Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in various settings, ensuring that all areas are welcoming and hygienic. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, and common areas.
- Ensure all surfaces are dusted, vacuumed, and sanitized according to established standards.
- Manage laundry services, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries and cleaning products in guest rooms and restrooms.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when reordering is necessary.
- Follow all health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks.
Skills
- Proficiency in floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, and polishing.
- Experience in hotel or hospitality environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning methods and equipment is a plus.
- Knowledge of housekeeping management practices to ensure efficient operations.
- Strong custodial skills with an emphasis on cleanliness and organization.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
