Glazzio Tiles is a leader in the tiles industry. We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Order Processor to join our LTL (Less Than Truckload) team at our Burlington, NJ site.
The LTL Order Processor is responsible for handling and processing orders related to Less Than Truckload (LTL) shipments. This position involves ensuring timely and accurate processing of orders, and maintaining communication with vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth logistics operations. This position involves working closely with the sales team and warehouse staff to ensure customer satisfaction and on-time delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Order Processing: Review and process incoming LTL orders, ensuring all required information is complete and accurate for shipment.
- Shipment Coordination: Coordinate with carriers and freight forwarders to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation of goods.
- Data Entry & Documentation: Accurately input and update shipment details in the company's transportation management system (TMS) or other relevant software.
- Billing & Invoicing: Verify shipment details for accurate billing and invoicing to ensure correct charges are applied to customer accounts.
- Process customer orders in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
- Verify order accuracy and resolve any discrepancies with sales team and customers
- Communicate with warehouse staff to ensure timely order fulfillment and shipping
- Enter and maintain customer and order information in company databases and systems
- Assist with invoice creation and processing
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding order status and shipment tracking information
- Take down customer information in order to process order.
- Complete fields such as name, address, account number, item number, price, and any sales or promotions.
- Input orders into database
- Inform customer of expected delivery date.
- Follow up on orders.
- Prepare invoices and shipping documents.
- Have parcel picked up by shipping company.
- Work with production, sales, shipping, warehouse, or common carrier personnel to expedite or trace missing or delayed shipments.
- Prepare order reports for management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of experience in order processing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.), and experience with transportation management software (TMS) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
