Responsibilities include:
Lead the month-end and quarter-end close process
Oversee general ledger and financial reporting activities
Prepare and review SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K, 8-K)
Research and document technical accounting matters
Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, Legal, and external auditors
Support SOX compliance and internal controls
Assist with process improvements and special projects
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA strongly preferred
6–10+ years of accounting experience, including public accounting and publicly traded biotech/life sciences experience
Strong understanding of US GAAP and SEC reporting
Experience with technical accounting and external audits
Excellent communication and leadership skills
