Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Residential Excavation Operator to join our expanding excavation team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. You will work on projects involving the replacement of residential sewer and water service lines, helping to enhance the reliability and functionality of essential home services for our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate excavation equipment for residential sewer and water line replacements
- Perform site inspections to assess job requirements and identify any potential hazards
- Execute digging, trenching, and pipe-laying tasks with precision and care
- Coordinate with team members to ensure efficient, quality work on all projects
- Maintain equipment and report any mechanical issues or needs for repairs
- Adhere to all safety guidelines, company protocols, and regulatory standards
- Ensure clean and organized work areas during and after each job
Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating excavation equipment in a residential or commercial setting
- Strong understanding of excavation, trenching, and backfilling techniques
- Knowledge of residential sewer and water service lines is a plus
- Physical stamina and strength to perform hands-on excavation tasks
- Commitment to safety and attention to detail
- Team-oriented with excellent communication skills
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (CDL preferred but not required)

Pay: $43.00 - $52.00 per hour
