United Agricultural Cooperative is seeking hardworking seasonal staff to support grain operations during harvest season. This role plays a critical part in ensuring grain movement, receiving operations, facility upkeep, and customer service run efficiently during one of the busiest times of the year.
This temporary assignment typically begins in June and may continue through October, depending on harvest activity and business needs.
Receive grain deliveries and assist customers during harvest intake
Load and unload trucks as needed
Monitor grain flow and assist with general operational tasks
Maintain cleanliness of grain facilities, grounds, and equipment
Support warehouse and grain handling functions
Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times
Communicate operational concerns to supervisors promptly
Assist team members as needed during peak operational periods
Perform other duties as assigned
Seasonal assignment beginning approximately June through October
Schedule include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and overtime during peak harvest periods
Hours may vary based on operational demand and weather conditions
Previous agriculture, grain, warehouse, or labor experience preferred but not required
Dependable attendance and punctuality required
Ability to work in fast-paced environments
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to follow operational and safety procedures
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
Ability to stand, bend, climb, and work in physically demanding environments
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Ability to safely work around grain equipment, trucks, and machinery
This is a temporary seasonal position created to support harvest operations and does not guarantee ongoing employment after harvest season concludes. Employment with United Ag is at-will and may be ended at any time consistent with applicable law.
