Chef Tim Love is looking for a proactive and energetic Assistant Manager for our bar to join our vibrant hospitality team. Duties
- Oversee daily bar operations, ensuring efficient service and high standards of quality.
- Manage staff schedules, supervise team members, and provide ongoing training to uphold service excellence.
- Handle cash transactions, Toast POS system, and cash handling procedures accurately.
- Maintain inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and health regulations across all bar activities.
- Assist in menu development, including food preparation and beverage offerings, to enhance guest experience.
- Support event setups such as banquets or catering functions, ensuring timely execution and presentation.
Skills
- Proven experience in bar management or hospitality management with supervising responsibilities.
- Proven experience working in heavy volume honkytonk /nightclub environment managing crowds
- Strong knowledge of Toast POS systems, along with cash handling expertise.
- Experience in food preparation, cooking, and food safety management within a casual dining or fine dining setting.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate staff effectively.
- Familiarity with inventory control, budgeting, and profit & loss analysis in a food service environment.
- Background in managing hospitality teams with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, kitchen management, and food handling procedures.
