We are seeking a Registered Nurse to add to our dynamic team. The Registered Nurse at Warrior plays a critical role in delivering comprehensive healthcare services to patients across various medical settings. This position focuses on providing direct patient care, ensuring that each individual receives personalized and effective treatment plans tailored to their unique health needs. The nurse will be responsible for educating patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care to promote optimal health outcomes. Additionally, the role involves specialized skills such as wound care management and supporting patients with complex medical needs. Ultimately, the Registered Nurse serves as a patient advocate, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance the quality of care and improve patient safety and satisfaction.
Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care including triage, assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions

Educate patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and post-treatment care

Perform wound care management as ordered by the provider

Implement infection prevention and control protocols

Emergency response as needed

Motivate and re-engage patients utilizing de-escalation and motivational interviewing techniques

Advocate for patients’ rights and needs, ensuring ethical and compassionate care delivery

Collaborate with physicians, mid-level providers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care

Document patient information accurately and maintain current medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations

Adapt nursing approaches to meet the needs of all patients as individuals
Minimum Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state or region

Completion of an accredited nursing program (associate or bachelor's degree in nursing)

Basic Life Support (BLS)

Demonstrated experience in direct patient care within a hospital or clinical setting

Proficiency in wound care techniques and implementing infection prevention and control protocols

Knowledge of patient re-engagement techniques including de-escalation and motivational interviewing
Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with a multidisciplinary care team including physicians, mid-level providers, therapists, and non-licensed support staff in a collaborative healthcare environment

Additional certifications in addiction nursing, substance use disorders, patient advocacy, or health education

Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and healthcare informatics
