We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Wheelchair Van Driver to provide safe and timely transportation for individuals needing mobility services. As a valued member of our team, you will play a crucial role in enabling our clients to access essential appointments, social activities, and daily errands. This role is a great fit for Uber and Lyft drivers looking for a more stable income, consistent hours, and a reliable schedule—without the wear and tear of rideshare uncertainty. Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a wheelchair-accessible van, ensuring proper loading and unloading of passengers.
- Assist clients in boarding and exiting the vehicle, and secure wheelchairs with provided restraints.
- Adhere to scheduled routes and timelines, maintaining punctuality and professionalism.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness and perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and comfort.
- Provide courteous and respectful service to all passengers.
- Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, and any incidents.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Experience driving vans or larger vehicles preferred.
- Ability to assist passengers with disabilities and operate wheelchair restraints.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours.
- Background check required.
