Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing and facility operations, is seeking a Maintenance Lead to join their team. As a Maintenance Lead, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the facility operations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Maintenance Lead (Direct Hire)
Location: Melrose Park, IL
Pay Range: $41.93 plus $5K Sign-On Bonus
Shift: 3rd Shift (10pm-6am)
What's the Job?
- Support the Maintenance Supervisor in coordinating and executing maintenance activities across the facility.
- Lead, train, and support maintenance team members to ensure efficient operations and safety compliance.
- Support preventative maintenance planning and recommend permanent solutions to recurring equipment issues.
- Communicate critical maintenance situations and escalate concerns when guidance or support is needed.
- Utilize tools and equipment to maintain, inspect, adjust, repair, and replace machinery and facility equipment.
What's Needed?
- Experience in repairing, installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining production and facility equipment.
- Proficiency in electrical equipment involving DC and AC voltages and control devices such as sensors and switches.
- Ability to operate welding and metalworking equipment for fabrication and repairs.
- Strong communication skills to effectively escalate and report maintenance issues.
- Physical ability to climb, crawl, bend, lift 25–50 lbs., and work at heights in various environmental conditions.
