ASJ Enterprises, a family-owned business serving Western North Carolina for over 35 years, is looking for an enthusiastic, hands-on Assistant Store Manager to join our team in Brevard.

As Assistant Store Manager, you'll work closely with the Store Manager to help lead the daily operation of the shop, support and coach the team, and ensure every customer has an exceptional experience. What You'll Be Doing
- Assisting the Store Manager with the day-to-day operation of the shop
- Leading by example and helping motivate technicians and service advisors
- Providing exceptional customer service and helping customers understand their vehicle maintenance needs
- Coaching and training team members to improve performance and customer satisfaction
- Helping manage scheduling, workflow, inventory, and shop organization
- Ensuring safety procedures and company policies are followed
- Assisting with sales goals and helping the team achieve performance targets
- Stepping into a leadership role whenever the Store Manager is away
- Working alongside the team in the shop and maintaining a positive, team-focused culture
What We're Looking For
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to coach, motivate, and support a team
- Positive attitude with a willingness to lead by example
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Automotive service experience is required—you should be comfortable with vehicle maintenance, inspections, and recommending maintenance services
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
