Part TIme Custodian Position at Ventura Port
Schedule:
The schedule is a split shift.
Saturday: 5am to 9am then 3pm to 6pm
Sunday: 5am to 9am then 3pm to 6pm
```Duties:```
- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
- Empty trash and recycling bins
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas, including hallways, lobbies, and break rooms
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor
```Requirements:```
- Previous experience in custodial or janitorial work preferred
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance and cleaning techniques
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as buffers and floor care machines
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a high standard of cleanliness
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks within given timeframes
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors
