Position: Equipment Maintenance Tech
Compensation: $26.00 – $33.00 DOE
JAE Oregon, Inc. is hiring for an experienced Equipment maintenance technician with a solid mechanical background and familiarity with various industrial production machines. This role is primarily a hands-on, "fix it" position, ideal for a mechanically inclined individual who enjoys problem solving, troubleshooting, and is curious how to make things work.
If you are a versatile, self-starter with heavy equipment, machines or car mechanic experience and like to get your hands dirty and can adapt to a wide range of maintenance challenges, then this is the role for you. JAE Oregon produces electrical connectors for the automotive industry. This position maintains production machines and it not a hi-tech position.
We have the following production departments; Electroplating, Stamping, CNC Machining, Injection Molding, Automated/Manual Assembly.
Major Job Responsibilities include:
Setting up, maintaining, troubleshooting, and adjusts a variety of mechanical processes.
Coordinates with and provides technical support to Production, Engineering, and Maintenance staff to implement approved tooling and process improvements/modifications.
Analyzes problem root causes and recommends corrective actions. Supports the implementation of approved corrective action.
Assists in technical training of manufacturing staff under the direction of the Equipment Maintenance Manager, Engineering staff, and Production Supervisors.
Supports the CMMS (Maintenance Connection) Corrective, Preventative, and Predictive maintenance program.
