MEDICAL ASSISTANT FOR CHIROPRACTIC OFFICE
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our chiropractic practice as a Medical Chiropractic Assistant. This role combines clinical support, patient care, and administrative responsibilities to ensure efficient daily operations and an excellent patient experience. The ideal candidate is organized, personable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in patients; maintain a welcoming and professional atmosphere
- Prepare patients for chiropractic treatments, including taking vital signs and documenting medical history
- Assist the chiropractor during examinations and therapies
- Administer supportive therapies as directed (e.g., heat/cold therapy, electrical stimulation, ultrasound, traction)
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records (EMR/EHR systems)
- Educate patients on treatment plans, exercises, and wellness recommendations
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow throughout the day
- Handle phone calls, insurance verification, and basic billing tasks
- Ensure treatment rooms and equipment are clean, organized, and properly sanitized
- Monitor inventory and restock supplies as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Medical Assistant certification preferred
- Previous experience in a medical, chiropractic, physical therapy, or wellness setting is a plus
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and patient care procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment
- Proficiency with computers and electronic medical records systems
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
