Position: IT Business Analyst

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in data science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field is required. A Master's Degree is preferred.

Experience in a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or IT Analyst role, preferably in a healthcare or clinical environment required.

Experience working with reporting or business intelligence tools (Power BI preferred).
Position Summary
The IT Business Analyst serves as a liaison between business stakeholders, clinical teams, and IT, translating business processes, workflows, and reporting needs into clear technical requirements and analytics deliverables. This role focuses on analyzing business processes, documenting requirements, and supporting the development of Power BI dashboards and reports that visualize performance, operational changes, and system usage. The IT Business Analyst ensures reporting and analytics solutions are accurate, meaningful, and aligned with organizational needs.
Essential Functions:
Engage with clinical, administrative, and operational stakeholders to understand workflows, business processes, and reporting needs.
Elicit, document, and validate business and reporting requirements, ensuring clarity, completeness, and consistency.
Analyze current-state and future-state processes, identifying opportunities for improved visibility, efficiency, and standardization.
Collaborate with IT, data, and EHR teams to ensure reporting solutions align with system capabilities, data structures, and governance standards.
Validate dashboard outputs and reports, ensuring accuracy, usability, and alignment with documented requirements.
Develop and maintain documentation including requirements, process flows, data definitions, and report descriptions.
Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and compliance requirements, including HIPAA and organizational standards.
