The City of Guthrie is accepting applications for the Mechanic position. Under the general supervision of the Superintendent of Fleet Services, the Mechanic performs regular service and preventive maintenance to a wide variety of City-owned gasoline and diesel vehicles and equipment. Qualifications: A. Must possess a valid Class A CDL Oklahoma Driver’s License or obtain in first 12 months of employment. Driving record must meet or surpass guidelines as set forth by the City of Guthrie. B. National Incident Management System (NIMS) certified in ICS 100, 200. IS-700, and IS-800 or become certified within 12 months of initial hire. C. A minimum of two years of experience in automotive repair work. D. Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent.
