About Us
Lola + The Boys is a Chicago-born children's fashion brand founded in 2016 by a mom of three who couldn't find clothes as bold and joyful as her kids. Ten years later, we've dressed over a million kids worldwide in sequins, statement graphics, and collaborations with brands like Barbie, Hello Kitty, Hot Wheels, and Disney. Our mission has never changed: clothing that makes kids feel confident, expressive, and unapologetically themselves.
Now we're growing our retail footprint — and we're looking for people who bring the same energy to the sales floor that our clothes bring to the closet.
The Role
As a Store Associate, you're the face of Lola + The Boys. You'll help families find pieces their kids will actually be excited to wear, keep the store looking as vibrant as our collections, and create a shopping experience that feels like a celebration.
What You'll Do
- Welcome customers and deliver a warm, high-energy shopping experience for kids and parents alike
- Learn the product line — from everyday staples to licensed collabs — and make confident styling recommendations
- Process sales, returns, and exchanges accurately at POS
- Maintain merchandising standards: restocking, folding, sizing, and keeping displays fresh
- Support inventory counts, shipment processing, and back-of-house organization
- Assist with in-store events, promotions, and new collection launches
What We're Looking For
- Retail or customer service experience preferred (kids' apparel a plus, not required)
- Genuine enthusiasm for working with families and children
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable with weekend/holiday availability
- Team player with strong communication skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
