Duties
- Perform a wide range of esthetic services including facials, body waxing, eyelash extensions, dermabrasion, and skin treatments using advanced techniques and equipment.
- Specialize in cosmetic tattooing procedures such as lip blush, eyeliner pigment application, microblading, and permanent makeup to create natural-looking enhancements tailored to each client’s preferences.
- Conduct aesthetic treatments like laser skin therapy, skin resurfacing, and other innovative procedures while adhering to safety protocols.
- Educate clients on skincare routines, product recommendations, and post-treatment care to promote ongoing skin health.
- Maintain meticulous medical records and client histories using electronic medical record (EMR) systems while ensuring compliance with tattooing and piercing safety regulations.
- Follow strict sanitation and infection control standards to guarantee a safe environment for clients and staff.
- Engage with clients through effective communication, understanding their goals, answering questions about treatments, and providing exceptional customer service throughout their visit.
- Stay current with industry trends by participating in ongoing training related to color theory, anatomy knowledge, esthetic laser treatments, hair threading, makeup application, and other aesthetic techniques.
Requirements
- Valid state licensure as a Licensed Esthetician with certification in cosmetology or related fields.
- Proven experience performing diverse esthetic treatments including body waxing, eyelash extensions, dermabrasion, and laser therapy.
- Expertise in tattooing techniques such as lip blush, eyeliner pigment application, microblading, and permanent makeup with a strong understanding of safety regulations.
- Knowledge of sanitation practices, infection control procedures, and tattoo/piercing safety standards essential for maintaining a safe treatment environment.
- Strong client communication skills with the ability to educate clients effectively about treatment options and aftercare.
- Familiarity with EMR systems for accurate record-keeping of medical histories and treatment documentation.
- Ability to perform makeup application skills confidently for various occasions or photo shoots.
- A passion for continuous learning about new aesthetic treatments and industry innovations to provide the best possible service.
