REMAX Heart of America is looking for a dependable, organized, and professional Full-Time Property Manager / Administrative Coordinator to join our team.
This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys working with people, staying organized, solving problems, and keeping the day-to-day operations of a busy real estate and property management office running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming phone calls, assist clients and tenants, and direct calls appropriately
- Manage daily office operations and administrative tasks
- Manage rental properties and serve as a point of contact for property owners and tenants
- Communicate professionally and consistently with property owners regarding their properties
- Market rental properties, including preparing and updating property listings
- Respond to rental inquiries and coordinate showings
- Screen prospective tenants and process rental applications
- Prepare and coordinate lease signings
- Coordinate tenant move-ins and move-outs
- Collect, process, and record rental payments
- Make bank deposits and handle other banking-related errands
- Schedule and coordinate repairs, maintenance, inspections, and service calls
- Communicate with contractors and vendors and follow up on completed work
- Track maintenance requests and ensure issues are addressed promptly
- Run occasional business errands as needed
- Maintain accurate records, files, and property information
- Assist with other real estate and property management duties as needed
The ideal candidate is:
- Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Professional and friendly with excellent customer service skills
- Comfortable communicating with property owners, tenants, vendors, and the public
- Detail-oriented and able to follow through on tasks from beginning to end
- A self-starter who can work independently and take initiative
- Comfortable using computers, email, office software, and online property management systems
- Able to handle confidential and financial information responsibly
- Flexible and willing to jump in wherever needed
- Previous property management, real estate, leasing, or office management experience is preferred, but we are willing to consider the right candidate with strong administrative and customer service experience
