Function: -- oversees the day-to-day operations of the stockroom, ensuring materials are stored, handled, and distributed efficiently and in compliance with company policies and safety standards. Also manages the stockroom attendants while working with departments to ensure accurate stock levels for production.
Stockroom Supervisor Responsibilities & Duties
· Supervising and managing a team of stockroom attendants including assigning attendants to alternate work areas when needed · Maintaining accurate inventory records and conducting regular audits· Ensuring that all products are properly stored and labeled· Managing the receiving and shipping of products· Implementing and maintaining processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and accuracy
- Maintain the accuracy of inventory by following company cycle counting procedures
· Providing training and development opportunities for stockroom attendants· Working closely with other departments to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues
- Willing to perform physical aspects of the stockroom attendant’s position when necessary
- Maintain clean, neat and organized work environment
- Uphold company policies and procedures
- Ensure adherence to safety procedures and use of required PPE
- Support implementation of new manufacturing technologies or systems
Stockroom Supervisor Qualifications & Skills
- · Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field (5-7 years of relevant experience can replace the educational requirement)
- Experience in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment· Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- 3+ years of experience in a stockroom or warehouse environment
- 1+ years of experience supervising a team
- Excellent leadership and management skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory management software

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
