We are seeking a technical savvy professional to work in our Livonia office.
We’re looking for a Tier 1 Help Desk Technician to be the first point of contact for IT support across the organization. This role is ideal for someone early in their IT career who enjoys helping users, troubleshooting technical issues, and building a strong foundation in enterprise IT operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support for end users via phone, email, and ticketing system
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic hardware, software, network, and account-related issues
- Support Windows and macOS workstations, printers, mobile devices, and common business applications
- Manage user accounts, password resets, and basic access requests (M365)
- Escalate complex issues to Tier 2/3 support with proper documentation
- Maintain accurate ticket notes and follow IT service management processes
- Assist with workstation setup, onboarding, and offboarding tasks
- Deliver a high level of customer service while meeting response and resolution SLAs
Required Qualifications
- 0–2 years of experience in an IT support or help desk role (or equivalent hands-on experience)
- Basic understanding of Windows OS, Office 365, and general networking concepts
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical users
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, detail oriented, and customer focused mindset
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ticketing systems (Zendesk preferred)
- Exposure to Active Directory, Azure AD, or Microsoft 365 administration
- CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar certifications (or working toward them)
- Experience supporting healthcare, corporate, or regulated environments (if applicable)
