TRAINING WILL BE ON 1ST SHIFT, THEN WILL BE MOVED TO 2ND OR 3RD SHIFT
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in operating various machining tools and equipment to produce precision parts.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders to produce metal parts
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process
- Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality
-Run EDM Sinker-write programs, setup work and be able to adjust burns to achieve desired requirements.
-Experience with TIG welding and some Stick and Mig.
- Working an insert area
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery
- Collaborate with engineers and production team to ensure specifications are met
Skills:
- Proficiency in operating machining tools including lathe and manual mills
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments like calipers for accurate measurements
- Mechanical aptitude and understanding of hand tools for maintenance tasks
