Job Overview
We are seeking a part-time Licensed Optometrist or Optometrist waiting to test to perform Refractions as part of eye exam prior to Ophthalmology exam. You will also be assisting our Optician with sales and dispensing of glasses. There is a possibility of a permanent position in the future! Days include Monday 8-5 and Saturdays 9-1. An ideal candidate will possess a background in patient care and ability to perform refractions. You will work closely with our Ophthalmologist providing the vision testing. We serve patients of all ages.
Responsibilities.
- Maintain accurate medical records using EMR and EHR systems while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure eye care.
- Deliver excellent customer service to enhance patient experiences.
- Some assistance in sales of glasses and adjusting frames.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in using EMR/EHR systems for efficient record management.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team environment.
