We are seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have mechanical knowledge, be familiar with OSHA regulations, and have experience with materials handling and shipping/receiving.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily operations of the warehouse
- Ensure all safety procedures are followed according to OSHA regulations
- Manage and train warehouse staff
- Oversee materials handling, including loading and unloading trucks
- Manage shipping and receiving processes
- Work with AS400 system to track inventory and shipments
- Coordinate with e-commerce team to ensure timely order fulfillment-
- Work with 3PL partners to manage inventory levels
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in a warehouse or distribution center environment
- Mechanical knowledge preferred
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
- Experience with materials handling, shipping/receiving, and AS400 system
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
