The Role
We are looking for a reliable and people-focused Team Lead to oversee day-to-day store operations. This position acts as the store manager and is responsible for leading the team, maintaining high standards, and helping the boutique run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Foster a strong team culture and maintain a positive, supportive store environment for both staff and customers
- Hold sales associates accountable to their daily duties and performance expectations
- Oversee merchandising and inventory management
- Drive sales targets and support the team in achieving them
- Handle cash and manage daily financial procedures
- Manage website sales and related online operations
- Oversee social media management, ensuring the team consistently creates and posts content
- Be available to work holidays
- Create the monthly work schedule for the entire team, ensuring fair weekend rotation
- Recruit and interview candidates when sales associate positions become available
Schedule Requirements
- Full-time: 28+ hours per week
- Must work a minimum of two Saturdays and two Sundays each month
- Weekend shifts are rotated fairly among the team
Requirements
- Previous retail experience required
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to hold team members accountable while maintaining a positive environment
- Reliable and available during holidays
- Comfortable managing multiple responsibilities (scheduling, inventory, social media, sales, etc.)
