Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our fabrication & installation team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of general millwright, welding and/or pipefitting trades.

Skills/Knowledge Required:
- Blueprint Reading: The ability to understand and interpret technical drawings and engineering plans is crucial for understanding project specifications.
- Welding Techniques: Proficiency in various welding processes like MIG, TIG, and Stick welding is necessary.
- Fabrication Tools: Familiarity with and ability to operate various hand and power tools, including grinders, saws, shears, and plasma cutters, is essential.
- Metallurgy Knowledge: Understanding the properties of different metals and how they react to heat is vital
- Safety Procedures: A thorough knowledge of industry-standard safety practices and the ability to follow them is non-negotiable for preventing accidents.
- Attention to Detail: Precision is critical to ensure the safety, strength, and quality of welds and fabricated components.
- Problem-Solving: The ability to quickly identify and resolve issues like material inconsistencies or fit-up problems is key to maintaining productivity.
- Dexterity & Physical Stamina: The job requires manual dexterity for intricate tasks and the physical stamina to handle heavy materials and work for extended periods.
- Communication: Clear verbal and written communication with team members, supervisors, and engineers ensures project alignment and efficient workflow.
- Adaptability: The capacity to learn new welding techniques, technologies, and practices is essential
- Mathematics: Good mathematical skills are needed for accurate measurements and understanding dimensions from blueprints.
- Teamwork: The ability to collaborate with others is important
- Equipment Maintenance: Knowledge of how to set up, maintain, and troubleshoot welding and fabrication equipment is a significant asset.
Job Requirements:
- Pipefitting experience is required
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong technical knowledge
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- High school and/or technical school education
- Candidates must have valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
