Job Title: Medical Device Assembler
Location: Irvine, CA 92614
Employment Type: W2 Contract – 6 Months with Possibility for Extensions
Pay Rate: $17.75–$19.75/hour (determined by experience, paid weekly)
Shift: 2nd Shift | Monday–Friday | 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM

Role Overview
BEPC is actively seeking a detail-oriented Medical Device Assembler to join our customer's manufacturing team in Irvine, California. This role is responsible for assembling, repairing, inspecting, and testing high-quality medical devices in a cleanroom manufacturing environment while maintaining strict quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
The ideal candidate will have excellent manual dexterity, strong attention to detail, and the ability to perform precision assembly under a microscope. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the production of life-saving medical devices in an FDA-regulated manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble, inspect, repair, and test medical device components, including catheters and related medical device assemblies.
- Perform precision assembly using microscopes and specialized hand tools.
- Follow standardized manufacturing procedures, work instructions, and quality requirements.
- Maintain accurate production and quality documentation to ensure product traceability.
- Read, understand, and follow written procedures and verbal instructions.
- Handle and manipulate small components with precision.
- Maintain compliance with FDA regulations and Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.
- Communicate production issues, ideas, and solutions effectively with team members and leadership.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized cleanroom work environment.
- Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform repetitive tasks requiring grabbing, pinching, pulling, twisting, and fine motor skills.
- Ensure all manufacturing activities meet company quality and productivity expectations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written procedures and verbal instructions.
- Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Ability to perform precision assembly under a microscope for extended periods.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods during the workday.
- Ability to perform repetitive hand movements, including grabbing, pinching, pulling, and twisting.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate production and quality documentation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience assembling medical devices.
- Experience working in a cleanroom manufacturing environment.
- Experience using microscopes for precision assembly.
- Hand soldering experience.
- Experience maintaining written and electronic manufacturing documentation.
- Experience working in FDA-regulated manufacturing environments.
