We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server to join our vibrant restaurant team. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring a positive dining experience
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
- Utilize reservation management tools like OpenTable to coordinate seating arrangements and optimize table turnover
- Follow food safety protocols and sanitation guidelines to uphold health standards in food service
Experience
- Previous restaurant experience, particularly in fine dining is highly desirable
- Proven skills in customer service, guest relations, and upselling techniques
- Experience with food handling, sanitation practices, and basic math for cash handling transactions
- Familiarity with restaurant operations such as serving, bussing, hosting/hostess duties, and food preparation
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of the food industry standards for safety and hospitality excellence
