Exceptional Community Services (ECS) is actively hiring a Residential Direct Support Professional (DSP) for their team in Monroe, GA.
As a DSP, you’ll provide high-quality care for adults with developmental disabilities in a residential home setting. You’ll support daily living needs including meal preparation, housekeeping, hygiene assistance, and medication administration or supervision, while promoting independence and stability in daily routines.

Job Duties:
- Provide daily living support in a residential home, including personal care, hygiene, meals, and housekeeping tasks
- Prepare meals according to individual dietary needs and service plan requirements
- Support implementation of individualized service plans and behavior support strategies
- Observe, document, and report changes in behavior, condition, and progress
- Assist with or supervise medication administration per agency and physician guidelines
- Provide transportation to appointments, activities, and community services
- Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and required training to ensure coordinated care
- Maintain a safe, supportive home environment and respond to behavioral escalations using approved techniques when needed
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED, required
- Valid Georgia driver’s license, required
- CPR/First Aid certification (or must obtain within 30 days of employment)
- 2+ years of experience in a related role, required
- Experience supporting individuals with mental/behavioral health needs and/or developmental disabilities
