About the Role
Vickerman Company is hiring seasonal Warehouse Receiving Associates to join our fast-paced dock team in Norwood Young America, MN! If you thrive in a physical, active, and team-oriented environment, we want to meet you.
Our dock team plays a critical role in offloading incoming container shipments from overseas, sorting inventory, and preparing seasonal decor to be distributed across the nation.
These positions start immediately and run through our peak holiday season (typically ending between December 8 and January 12). Strong performers have genuine opportunities to transition into permanent, year-round employment!
Pay & Benefits
- Hourly Rate: $21.00 – $23.00 / hour

What You’ll Do
- Unload Shipments: Work closely with a energetic dock team to offload international containers and truck shipments efficiently and safely.
- Sort & Palletize: Accurately sort, stack, and organize cartons onto pallets by SKU for put-away.
- Transport Inventory: Operate manual/electric pallet jacks or forklifts to move staged pallets to designated warehouse staging areas.
- Quality & Accuracy Check: Inspect incoming goods for carton quality and ensure counts match receiving documents.
- Maintain Safety: Keep dock receiving areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
What We’re Looking For
- Must be 18 years or older.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs regularly and stay on your feet for the duration of your shift.
- A goal-oriented team player with a strong work ethic.
- Reliable transportation to Norwood Young America, MN.
- Previous dock, container unloading, or forklift experience is a plus—but not required! We provide full on-the-job training.
Schedule
- Shift: 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday (some weekend availability during peak volume)
- Flexibility: Full-time and part-time schedules available to fit your needs
