Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization in our kitchen environment. Duties
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dish washing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas by sweeping and mopping floors as needed.
- Ensure that all items are properly sanitized and stored in their designated areas.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as required by the culinary team.
- Help maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management.
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies to ensure a clean working environment.
- Support other kitchen staff during busy periods or special events such as banquets or catering services.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or catering environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of food handling and sanitation practices is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items when necessary.
